Wood Carvings       

     On a limited basis, we are offering custom milling, converting your family pictures into bas reliefs.  All bas reliefs are milled in Hickory wood and grain will vary affecting the final product.  Pictures will vary in size ranging from 4 by six inches to six by nine inches.  The size of the photo determines the final dimensions.  The maximum cut depth may vary as well from 0.5 inches.  All pictures need to be of a single primary object such as a baby or a face.  The background often needs to be eliminated to highlight the subject.  We will take artistic license when evaluating pictures. 
     Please be aware that not all pictures can be converted.  Please send all photos in JPEG format.  There is a $35 nonrefundable set up charge.  We will send you a preview for your approval prior to carving.  Carvings can not be returned.  Please note that the preview is always sharper then the wood carving will finish.  Please carefully examine the example of a typical conversion.  All pictures and carvings will become our property and it is assumed that consent is given to use the picture and carving for demonstration purposes and as advertising unless expressly prohibited.
