The Football Pen 

     American Football grew out of Rugby.  Walter Camp is credited with changing the rules and evolving the game into it's more modern form.  The only wood known to be used in football was the wood used for the goal posts. It is unknown what woods were used for the goalposts, although it may have been a variety. We have chosen oak due to the strength and hardness it represents.
