The Pen of Noah   

     The specific wood used in Noah's ark is unknown.  In the bible, it is referred to as Gopher wood.  A 16th century Bible translates the word as pine, but modern Bibles have assumed the original term, Gopher.  

     "Make an ark of gopher wood;room though shalt make in the ark, and shalt pitch it within and without with pitch."  (Genesis 6:14)

     There are many woods suggested as the wood Noah actually used (including fir, teak and ebony), but most experts beleive it was cypress.  Therefore, our pen is offered in cypress obtained from Israel.
