The Pool Cue Pen

     The game of Pool evolved from a game similiar to croquet in the 15th century. Originally, the game was played by nobility using tables covered in felt and a mace for a cue. However, the mace was awkward to use, and often the handle by itself worked better.  Eventually, the mace was abandoned and the modern pool cue born.  The best cues are usually made from maple.
