The Tennis Pen  

     Tennis was first played by monks in France in the 12th and 13th century.  The game grew in popularity with the invention of the wooden tennis racket in the 17th century.  King Henry VIII was known to enjoy the sport.  Tennis rackets were often made of Maple, Beech and Ash wood.   In the 1960s, wooden rackets were replaced with metal and later with composites. In honor of the history of tennis, we are offering pens from a used racket in either maple, beech or ash.
